Turning Supervisors Into Coaches · Founder, REAP Connections LLC

Most directors think their supervisors have a communication problem. Usually it's simpler than that: nobody ever taught them how to coach. REAP Connections is the system I built to fix that — for good.

Why REAP Connections exists

"We were not coached on how to lead people the way we're expected to now."

I've heard that directly, unprompted, from supervisors I've trained in the field. It's not a rare complaint — it's the default. Most directors think their supervisors have a communication problem. Usually it's simpler than that: nobody ever taught them how to coach.

Most leadership training hands someone a framework for a day and leaves them to hold onto it alone. It fades in three weeks because nothing holds it in place. I founded REAP Connections to install what actually holds: the training that changes how a leader shows up, wired into a coaching platform, customized to each team, that makes the coaching happen every single week after the training ends.

Process yourself first. Then communicate.

It's built on two frameworks I created from 8+ years in the room with leaders: the 4A Process (Aware, Address, Accept, Accelerate) for the conversation you have with yourself before a hard one, and the REAP Method (Rapport, Engage, Actively Listen, Proper Response) for the one you have with the person in front of you.

The writing behind the method

Four books on the conversations that matter.

The frameworks were written down, tested, and taught for years — the 4A Process and the REAP Method each have a book behind them. This is a body of work, not a one-off workshop.
